Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid

Da har jeg vært så heldig og har fått en invitasjon til lanseringen av den ny type Volvo – V60 Plug – in Hybrid!
Det er ikke en hvilken som helst VOLVO eller en typisk kjedelig bilevent. Det er en ”Sustainable luxury” event med hovedvekt på – bil klima & trend, noe jeg i det siste har begynt å sette stor pris på! Jeg har selv de siste årene blitt grønnere (ved hjelp av Spirulina & Chlorella), har blitt mer bevisst på kosthold og trening og ikke minst meget opptatt av nedbrytbar materialet som skåner miljøet mot farlige avfalstoffer. Så hvorfor ikke satse på en Bil som ser kul ut og er en hybrid? Er det ikke slik at så lenge den er fashionable & trendy – så er man kan den like så greit være miljøvenlig også?

Det er nemlig et av temaene som blir berørt på eventet som finner sted i Oslo kvelden 3. Mai. Der skal jeg delta i en debatt om trender, elbiler og klima. Spennende, ikke sant? Tilsvarende arrangementer finner sted over hele Europa. Paris, Hamburg, Amsterdam og flere andre byer, der bloggere, idrettsstjerner og bedriftledere har blitt invitert. Her er noen bilder fra evenet i Paris fra forrige uke:

Volvo utfordret meg til å reflektere litt rundt dette med trend, klima og elbil. Jeg må ærlig innrømme at jeg ikke er spesielt bilinteressert, men siden jeg er klesdesigner og er opptatt av trender er denne bilen et spennende objekt å se nærmere på. Så jeg er meget positiv til elbil når designet er flott og elegant. Det blir nesten som en “IT”- item som alle må ha! Men jeg har en lang vei å gå for å skjønne hvor viktig det egntlig er med klima og miljø om dagen. Kanskje jeg lærer noe under denne debatten den 3 mai? Følg med og se om jeg blir overbevisst eller ikke.
